Kaohsiung gas explosion is a very unfortunate chemical explosion; the location where transmission pipeline of Propylene broke was exposed to one of the section of Kaohsiung underground sewer system. Due to an error of judgement by employees from two companies—transmission and acceptance of Propylene, thirty tons of Propylene was transmitted into Kaohsiung underground sewer system and tubes, making the huge space of Kaohsiung's underground system a connected "big bomb."
