Railway culture is the first significant indicator of the modernization of Taiwan, and it is also the most important social and historical memory of Taiwan society. To welcome the incoming of the new century, we should actively reassess and reshape the railway culture of Taiwan, and integrate it into Taiwan's existent urban system. This shall enable Taiwan's cities to show their own unique style, and devise the indigenous image of Taiwan for our future generations.
