This article analyses whether the future energy transition path will increase coal-fired power generation, and whether it is inevitable to sacrifice algal reef when natural gas is an essential option for energy transformation? What is the possible impact on costs of electricity brought by these changes of the overall structure of power generation? Finally, how does the energy transformation, in governance area, face the aforementioned myths, and how to build a stronger societal discourse?
