Energy transformation is a self-imposed movement of Taiwanese society in the face of climate change risks. Taiwan faces both the vertical pressure of international carbon reduction and the horizontal pressure of domestic energy democracy. There is need to solve at the same time the three-spiral problem of air pollution, energy with carbon emission issue, and industrial transformation.
