Nantou area suffers from serious PM2.5 pollution, with emissions mainly from neighbouring counties and cities. The management and control of this cross-boundary pollution must be coordinated by the Environmental Protection Administration, assisting local governments in negotiations and control, adjusting the total amount control and the air pollution control region, to reduce PM2.5 pollution.
