Fukushima nuclear disaster can be said to throw in a new shock bomb on the nuclear power policy, igniting again peoples awareness of nuclear safety and environmental risks. In addition to concerns about the safety of nuclear power plants, the public also questioned the government's ability to manage nuclear power plants. As a result, Taiwanese society began to call for a halt to the management of nuclear energy by a small number of institutions, and expect the government is able to open a diversified channel, strengthen communication, and increase the proportion of citizen participation.
