Unraveling the fog of "capitalism"

Hui-Lin Wu, Researcher of the Chung Hua Institution for Economic Research

Food safety bombs continue to air raid Taiwan, having progressed to the standard "the rich man cannot be benevolent" realm. The super rich businessmen living in luxury, who produce adulterated oil without their conscience and poison customers, earn a lot of money from it, at the same time, seek excess profit on black-hearted financial products, as well as make profits on buying luxury houses using low interest rates or interest-free loans. This phenomenon is known as "crony capitalism," and is considered the chief culprit of disparity between the rich and the poor and the serious disparity in the distribution of income. Capitalism has then been crushed, and the voices asking the government for effective execution of justice are here and there.
