Green economy is often reduced to the political wrestling battlefield between developing and developed countries, which also implies a deep epistemic gap between experts and lay people. According to the polls conducted by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), nearly half of the people, in their perception, green economy is more likely to lead to long-term economic growth than the existing economic development model.
